Computer Science and Engineering branch has been started in the year 1996 with the intake of 30 students. This branch is one of the major branch in science and technology which is playing an important role in different fields of Enineering. It is the engineering field in much demand to meet the requirnament of present world. The study of computer science may be a basic for future of technical and IT industries. We are living in the electronic age. various electronic items have become an integral part of our day-to-day life. Whereas, item like the TV are mainly used for entertainment, the computer has become a close companion of men to the working place. So virtually, our age is the age of computer. It is imperative, therefore that the people should be well acquainted with computer and their use in common activities of daily life. It has been forecasted twenty five lacks of computer application professionals are needed in india by the end of the decade of this new millennium and the trend will continue to grow further enormously in coming decade all over the world. Also, now a days well engineered, reliable and usable systems are very much crucial to the survival of all present day organization.
