PLACEMENT CELL

Traning and Placement Cell is to enhance and facilitate the process of gainful employment for its divergent and distributive learner population for entry-level jobs as well as mid-career level employent opportunities, matching and commensurate with their personal and academic profiles. In the present day bisness scenario, companies demand job-ready candidates for employent at the shortest possible time period.

The qualified students are expected to be equipped with employable skills suitable for respective sectors. Taking into account this scenario, the cell has aligned its strategies to enhance the Emploability Quotient of our students by imparting employable skills training after their skills mapping and bridging the gaps through appropriate trainig.

The cell conducts on-campus and off-campus placement and employability enhancement activities at the headquarters and at some Regional Centres.

The Department of Placement and Training holds a group of dedicated and committed staff members, whose primary objective is to train the students in multifarious ways towards meeting the expectation of industries and to place them in reputed organization, based on the efficiency of every student.

OBJECTIVE

1. To enhance the soft skills of studnets by offering various trainings from their first year of collegiate Education.
2. To arrange Campus Interview from Reputed Organizations.
3. To enhance the technical proficiency of the students, by organizing various industrial trainings by experts from industries.
4. To prepare the students to face Campus Interviews with confidence and optimism.
5. To promote the close interaction of industry and various departments of the institute.
6. To facilitate consultancy, sponsored R&D projects and industrial and academic trainings those are not prescribed in the syllabus.
7. To conduct industrial exhibitions and interaction meets.
8. This cell will enable the people and industries in particular to know about the facilities on trainig, testing and research activities in the college's departments.
9. To exposure to current industry practices, challenges and needs and update their skills when changes occur in technology.
10. To sensitize the teaching facility to the latest practices leading them to blend practice with usual theoretical teaching methods.
